Our program is based on The Creative Curriculum for Early Childhood. The philosophy is that children learn best by doing. Each day children are given developmentally appropriate activities, with emphasis on: personal and social development, creative arts, early language and literacy, health and physical education, mathematics, science, and social studies. The program is further enhanced through a music and creative movement class that takes place twice a week.
Classroom environments are intentionally created to provide many hands-on learning opportunities and typically provide space for: blocks, sand or rice, table toys, art, computer, dramatic play, library, and class lessons. Opportunity for outside play is also important to your child's growth and development. We venture outside all year long, weather permitting. This allows us to stretch our muscles, breathe fresh air, and enjoy the outdoors. During extreme weather, children will enjoy gross motor activities in our spacious gym.
